In the event that a program is canceled by The Pediatric Source, LLC prior to participants receiving access to the course modules, participants are entitled to a full refund of the fees paid. The refund will be processed using the original method of payment.

How is the course structured?

Upon registration, participants gain immediate access to the modules and can select their preferred module to begin their learning journey at their own pace and convenience.

About the Speaker 

Casey graduated from Hofstra University with a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology, Teacher of Students with Speech-Language Disabilities Certification, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences.
She is licensed by the states of California and New York and she holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech Hearing Association. She is a proud wife and mom of two girls Nora 5.5. and Amelia 2.5.

Over the last 10 years, Casey has had the great opportunity of working in multiple settings in various capacities. Including Early Intervention & CPSE services throughout NYC schools/homes/daycares, The New Interdisciplinary School, on Long Island, NY, as well as The Suffolk Center for Speech and Myofunctional Therapy. Most recently, Casey has celebrated the establishment of her private practice Explore Speech (2020). Casey works as a content creator and owner of the Instagram Explore Speech and Teachers Pay Teachers Shop Explore Speech.

Casey works as a volunteer Social Media director for the Oral Motor Institute. She creates content for the Oral Motor Institute Instagram to help share research, tips, and helpful information for the masses. She is privileged to work under the guidance and mentorship of Board Chair Robyn Merkel-Walsh.

She is PROMPT trained by The Prompt Institute, and has taken several CEU courses in Orofacial Myology by Talk Tools, Breathe Myo: The Breathe Institute, and many courses within Hallie Bulkin's Feed the Peds/Myo Membership.
She has worked with infants, preschool children, school-aged children, and adults and performed diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to speech, language, apraxia, pragmatic language disorders, dyslexia, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and pediatric (toddler/child) feeding challenges/disorders.

For the last 5.5 years, Casey has focused her clinical skills on treating patients of all ages with speech sound disorders, issues in oral-motor, feeding, oral sensory aversion, orofacial myofunctional disorders, swallowing, and sleep-related breathing disorders. She also has recently started specializing in dyslexia and language-based learning disorders.
She coined the phrase "Explore the connection between" in 2023 to help encourage SLPs to advocate for their clients and families when navigating the broad scope of Speech-Language Pathology.

Casey prides herself in being an extensive researcher, avid CEU participant, and lifelong learner. She appreciates learning from the great leaders in Oral Motor. She is thrilled to be stepping into her first role as a presenter and to help others Explore the Connection Between!
